Victore’s work ranges from publishing, posters and advertising to illustration and animation. Design clients include Moet & Chandon, Aveda, Apple, Fuse TV, TIME Magazine, Yohji Yamamoto, Yamaha, The New York Times, and The School of Visual Arts. Victore’s designs are in the permanent collections of the Palais du Louvre, Paris, the Library of Congress, Washington, DC, the Design Museum in Zurich, the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, and, most recently, the MOMA in New York City.
" James Victore is a man of action. He believes that knowing about jazz and wine and auto-racing can make you a better designer. That graphic design is about experiences and stories and using your hands. That the best designs punch you in the gut – or, at the very least, stop you in your tracks.”
James recently released a book in 2010 titled "James Victore: Who Died and Made You Boss?" He also teaches graphic design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
